It has been a blessed summer and we are not finished yet! Some churches slow down in the summer, but we gear up. We started with Vacation Bible School, followed by Student Camp and several mission efforts. Teams have served or are serving with our church plant partners in Morgantown, WV, Indianapolis, IN, and Moldova in Eastern Europe. A dynamic ministry and mission emphasis in a church does not happen by accident.

*Vision is required to understand the call of the Great Commission and how to obey Jesus, starting at home and then going to the ends of the earth.

*Prayer is needed to depend on the power of God for spiritual fruit.

*Resources are needed to do the work.

*Servants are needed to give their time and efforts to minister to others.

It takes a total church effort. I could not be more thankful for the faithfulness of the people of Cross Lanes Baptist Church. Every church must start somewhere, stay focused, and build on its efforts.

Some plant…others water…God gives the increase!
